The Heartbreaking Last Words of a Pilot Who Let His Kids Fly Before the Crash

On March 23, 1994, Aeroflot Flight 593 was en route from Moscow to Hong Kong when tragedy struck. The Airbus A310 crashed into a remote Siberian forest, killing all 75 people on board.

Investigators later uncovered a chilling truth: the pilot had allowed his 12-year-old daughter and 16-year-old son to take the controls in the cockpit. When the autopilot partially disengaged due to unintentional inputs, the crew failed to regain control.

As the plane spiraled toward disaster, the pilot’s heartbreaking last words were recorded: “That’s it. We’ve had it.” Moments later, the aircraft vanished from radar.

This tragedy remains one of aviation’s most haunting cautionary tales, leading to stricter safety protocols and a stark reminder of the risks of cockpit interference.
