The Bus Driver Threw an Old Lady Into the Cold—Then Found Her Picture While Meeting His Fiancée

Jake, a city bus driver, was having a rough day when an elderly woman boarded without enough fare. Frustrated, he harshly told her to get off, ignoring her pleading eyes as she stepped into the freezing night.

Days later, Jake met his fiancée’s family for dinner. As he admired a framed picture on the mantle, his stomach dropped—it was the same old woman.

His fiancée smiled. “That’s my grandma. She raised me when my parents passed. She’s been missing since last week.”

Guilt hit Jake like a wave. The woman he had thrown into the cold was the grandmother of the woman he loved. Without a word, he rushed out, determined to find her.
