Entitled Neighbor Buried My Pond – I Showed Him Why You Don’t Cross an Older Woman

My backyard pond was my pride and joy, a peaceful oasis filled with koi and lilies. But one morning, I woke up to find it completely buried under dirt and rocks. My neighbor, Tom, stood smugly by his fence.

“Needed more yard space,” he said with a shrug.

I was furious, but I kept my cool. Instead of arguing, I took a trip to City Hall. A few days later, Tom received a visit from an inspector. Turns out, my pond was legally protected—and he had violated property laws.

He was slapped with hefty fines and ordered to restore my pond at his own expense. I stood by, arms crossed, as workers dug it back up, refilling it exactly as it was.

The best part? The inspector found that Tom’s new fence extended onto my land. Guess who had to tear it down and move it back?

Mess with an older woman? Bad idea.
