WHOEVER PARKED IN THE DISABLED SPOT WITHOUT A PLACARD CALL ME ENTITLED WHEN I SPOKE UP.

When I saw someone park in the disabled spot without a placard, I decided to say something. Calmly, I approached and pointed out that the spot was reserved for people who genuinely needed it.

Instead of apologizing, they rolled their eyes and called me “entitled.” I stood there stunned for a moment. Entitled? For standing up for those who rely on that spot to live their lives with a little more ease?

It wasn’t about picking a fight; it was about fairness and respect. Those blue spots aren’t just suggestions—they’re lifelines for people with mobility challenges.

The encounter left me frustrated but also more determined. If speaking up for what’s right makes me “entitled,” then so be it. I’ll wear that title proudly if it means standing up for people who often get overlooked.

Next time you see someone misusing a disabled spot, remember: silence helps no one.
