Michael Bolton’s daughter, Taryn, recently revealed that the legendary singer was diagnosed with glioblastoma, a rare and aggressive brain cancer, after a family bowling night in November 2023. “He fell out of his chair… He’s super athletic and doesn’t drink,” she recalled.

Doctors discovered the tumor following a severe headache. It was removed, and Bolton announced the diagnosis in January 2024. He paused touring to recover and undergo chemo and radiation.

“Succumbing to the challenge is not an option,” Bolton told People, reflecting on the toll the illness has taken on his speech and memory. Still, he’s focused on spending time with his daughters and embracing what truly matters.

Fans have flooded social media with support. “Dear Michael, never give up! Praying for a miracle,” one wrote.

Eric Dane’s ALS Diagnosis

Actor Eric Dane also shared he has ALS. “I am grateful to have my loving family by my side,” said the Grey’s Anatomy star. He plans to continue working and cherishes renewed closeness with his wife and daughters.
