Convicted Infant Killer Liam Deane Found Dead in Prison

Liam Deane, serving a life sentence for killing his 2-day-old daughter Luna after punching her because she wouldn’t stop crying, was found dead in his prison cell.

Deane, who admitted to causing fatal brain injuries, expressed regret during his trial, with his actions described as out of character. Luna’s mother shared the lasting pain of seeing her baby on life support.

Fellow inmate John Westland is suspected of killing Deane, whose death drew mixed reactions. While some viewed it as justice, others highlighted the severe judgment within prison communities for crimes against children, with many calling it karma.
