Couple Discovers Hidden Cameras in Airbnb Bathroom, Files Lawsuit
A couple has filed a lawsuit after allegedly discovering hidden cameras recording their intimate moments in the bathroom of an Airbnb rental.
Kayelee Gates and her fiancé, Christian Capraro, had driven 23 hours to Silver Spring, Maryland, for a two-night stay in August 2022. However, their trip took a disturbing turn when they found cameras disguised as smoke detectors in their rented bedroom and bathroom.
The property, listed on Airbnb, was owned by Christopher Goisse. According to the lawsuit, the couple realized they were being secretly recorded, turning their vacation into a nightmare.
The incident has raised concerns over privacy violations and the security of short-term rental platforms. Airbnb has yet to comment on the allegations.
