Trump Border Czar Vows Jail Time for FBI Leakers

Tom Homan, President Trump’s border czar, has accused the FBI of leaking information about upcoming raids targeting illegal immigrants, threatening criminal prosecution for those responsible.

Speaking on Fox News with Sean Hannity, Homan claimed the leaks about recent ICE raids in Colorado were coming from within the FBI. He also suggested that the FBI had leaked details about a large, upcoming raid in California, which is expected to occur before the end of the month. The raid is reportedly so large that FBI and DEA officers will assist ICE agents.

Homan expressed concern that the leaks could endanger officers, noting that “bad guys” could be preparing to ambush them. He confirmed that the deputy attorney general had opened a criminal investigation into the leaks, with some leads pointing to the FBI.

If the leakers are identified, Homan warned they would face severe consequences, including losing their job, pension, and potential jail time.

While Trump campaigned on executing the “largest deportation operation in American history,” the success of recent raids has been mixed. A Chicago operation, involving 400 agents, resulted in only one arrest, that of a member of the Venezuelan Tren de Aragua gang.
