The awkward moment when Don Jr.’s ex-fiancee Kimberly Guilfoyle locked eyes with Bettina Anderson at the special event for the first time, but the most surprising thing was the interesting reaction of the surrounding crowd

Donald Trump Jr.’s new socialite girlfriend and his ex-fiancé were forced to share a room Sunday night as they both attended pre-inauguration events.

Bettina Anderson, 38, was with her new beau seen in a gorgeous dark ballroom dress at a candlelight dinner for President-elect Donald Trump at the National Building Museum on January 19.

She had made her political debut earlier in the night, appearing in a Trump family photo as they gathered for a fireworks display at Trump National Golf Club in Sterling, Virginia ahead of Monday’s swearing-in ceremony.

Meanwhile, Don Jr’s ex-fiancée Kimberly Guilfoyle, 55, posted a photo on her Instagram of her at the same dinner wearing a sleek white dress.

She was also seen at the Republican-centric Hispanic Inaugural Ball the night before, standing next to her former beau.

To avoid such an awkward collision, allies of President-Elect Donald Trump had been trying to keep Anderson away.

Sources have exclusively told DailyMail.com that Don Jr’s new flame isn’t ‘MAGA enough’ and her notorious party girl reputation in Palm Beach doesn’t mesh well with the first family’s A-list Mar-A-Lago clientele. She had maintained a relatively low profile since DailyMail.com exclusively revealed her relationship with the former first son last summer.

‘The “tech oligarchy,” as Joe Biden seemed to call them in his farewell speech, will all be there supporting the new president,’ chief US reporter Germania Rodriguez Poleo said on Friday’s episode of Welcome to Magaland.

‘They are all going all sitting together, kind of representing this new tech American power.’

But there are also some notable people who have chosen not to attend, such as Michelle Obama and Nancy Pelosi, and the first episode of Welcome to Magaland dives into their possible reasons as well as rumors of trouble in paradise for the Obamas.
