A Simple Method for Eliminating Rats

A straightforward approach to dealing with a rat infestation is to use live traps. These traps capture the rodents without harming them, allowing you to release them far away from your home. To effectively use live traps, it’s crucial to use bait that rats find enticing, such as peanut butter, chocolate, dried fruit, nuts, bacon, or meat.

When releasing the captured rats, it’s important to choose a location where they can find shelter immediately, especially if the weather is hot. Additionally, releasing them around sunset reduces the likelihood of them finding their way back to your home, as rats have poor night vision. By using live traps and releasing captured rats safely, you can address the rat problem without causing harm to the animals.
