Angelina Jolie Has Come Out

Angelina Jolie, renowned actress, filmmaker, and humanitarian, has proudly come out. Known for her bold career choices and philanthropic work, she has consistently embraced her true self both on and off-screen.

Jolie’s rise to fame began in the 1990s with Hackers (1995), followed by her Oscar-winning role in Girl, Interrupted (1999) and her action-packed performance in Lara Croft: Tomb Raider (2001). She later showcased her range in Changeling (2008) and Maleficent (2014). Beyond acting, she directed impactful films like In the Land of Blood and Honey (2011) and First They Killed My Father (2017).

Beyond Hollywood, Jolie has long championed humanitarian causes. As a UNHCR Special Envoy, she has worked extensively with displaced communities, earning accolades such as the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award.

Jolie has always been candid about her sexuality. In a 1997 Girlfriends interview, she declared: “It’s great because I love men and women.” Her past relationship with actress Jenny Shimizu was well-known, though she later said, “I’ve never hidden my bisexuality, but since I’ve been with Brad, there’s no longer a place for that in my life.”
