FOX News star Carley Shimkus has shared her morning routine before she takes to the air.

The author and mom is best known for entertaining viewers on the popular morning TV show Fox & Friends First, which she co-hosts alongside Todd Piro.

Fox & Friends First airs at 5 am EST and Shimkus, 37, revealed her alarm wakes her up at 1:15 am.

Shimkus, who is a coffee fan, said she’s excited about waking up and drinking the caffeine drink when goes to bed, per the Daily Mail.

The presenter and her husband Peter Buchignani welcomed their son Brock in February and she told the outlet he has changed since being born.

“Even when I look back at pictures of him from four months ago – he’s changed so much,” she said.

Shimkus has shared a series of heartwarming family snaps on her Instagram feed where they were having their pictures taken with Santa.

She captioned the montage: “Santa was not a hit but he recovered quickly and is definitely still on the nice list.”

One photo captured Brock in tears while he sat on Santa’s lap, who was reading a story titled My First Night Before Christmas.

The other snaps showed Brock looking curious.

A heartwarming picture showed Brock sporting a red Santa hat.

Reacting to other touching snaps, fans said Brock had her smile, while others said Shimkus was “blessed.”

“Your baby is beautiful just like you. I have enjoyed watching you on Fox for years! Merry Christmas to you and yours,” one fan gushed.

Another chimed: “He just gets cuter and cuter and looks like his mom.”

Shimkus opened up about motherhood just weeks after Brock was born during an episode of Janice Dean’s podcast.

She described the early stages of motherhood as a wild ride and revealed Brock was getting an education in politics.

The TV star is also the author of the cookbook Cooking with Friends: Eat, Drink and Be Merry, published by Fox News Books.

The book contains dozens of recipes from their favorite Fox News stars.

Shimkus previously told The U.S. Sun that the cooking segment on Fox & Friends caught her eye while she watched the show in high school.

Shimkus also revealed she indulges in the leftover food following the segment.

“Janice and I are definitely big eaters,” she said.

Shimkus, who graduated with a degree in broadcast journalism, said she appreciates how the cooking segments can add humor and fun to the show.

The TV anchor first joined Fox News in 2009 as a production assistant on Fox Business Network.

She has also been a reporter for Fox News Headlines 24/7 and a co-host on Fox Nation.
