The company which had its CEO allegedly caught on a camera with ‘another woman’ has slammed a ‘fake statement’ from him.
If you’ve got no idea of what happened at this point, then we’re clearly on very different sides of the internet – so, let me set the scene for you.The camera then focused on a man stood with his arms wrapped around a woman, swaying along as they were beamed on to the big screen. But what could have seemed like a pretty innocent romantic moment to those at the concert ended up going virall when they had a big reaction.
“I want to acknowledge the moment that’s been circulating online, and the disappointment it’s caused,” the apparent fake statement read. “I also want to express how troubling it is that what should have been a private moment became public without my consent. I respect artists and entertainers, but I hope we can all think more deeply about the impact of turning someone else’s life into a spectacle.”
The statement, and others similar, have quickly been debunked, with Astronomer’s Taylor Jones telling Men’s Journal: “This is not a real statement.”
Byron and Cabot are still yet to say anything, as X is having an absolute field day with sharing memes of the moment and deep diving into their LinkedIns.
LADbible contacted Astronomer for comment.
