The group aimed to highlight issues such as rising living costs, threats to healthcare, and safety concerns for women. Fernández criticized Trump’s speech, calling his policies a “nightmare” for American women. The protest also saw lawmaker Al Green being escorted out after interrupting Trump to oppose cuts to Medicaid. The pink attire served as a visual reminder of the caucus’s commitment to fighting for women’s rights and challenging policies they believe harm families across the nation.
