Aerosmith Postpones Six Shows on “Peace Out: The Farewell Tour” Due to Steven Tyler’s Vocal Cord Injury
Aerosmith has disappointed fans by postponing six concerts on their final “Peace Out: The Farewell Tour.” Steven Tyler, the band’s legendary vocalist, announced that he cannot sing for the next month due to vocal cord damage.
In an emotional Instagram post, Tyler shared, “I’m heartbroken to say I have received strict doctor’s orders not to sing for the next thirty days.” As a result, shows in Toronto, Chicago, Detroit, Raleigh, and Washington D.C. will be rescheduled for early 2024.
Aerosmith assured fans that tickets for the postponed shows will be honored for the new dates, and refunds will be available for those unable to attend. While the tour, which began in September, was originally scheduled to end in January, it will now run into October.
Despite their age, the band’s commitment to their fans remains unwavering. Tyler, 75, has long shown his generosity, including a $500,000 donation in 2019 to fund “Janie’s House,” a shelter for abused women.
We’re wishing Steven Tyler a swift recovery and hope the band will continue their unforgettable farewell tour soon. Share this news with fellow Aerosmith fans!
