Eliminate fleas, ants, and cockroaches effectively with this home remedy

Dealing with household pests like fleas, ants, and cockroaches can be frustrating. But you don’t need to turn to harsh chemical sprays to solve the problem. A natural, homemade solution can be just as effective—while being much safer for your family and pets.

Many commercial pest control products contain toxic ingredients that may pose health risks. That’s why more people are turning to natural alternatives made from everyday household items.

One of the most effective natural pest repellents combines white vinegar and water. Mix equal parts in a spray bottle and apply it around entry points, baseboards, and areas where pests are commonly seen.

Lemon juice is another great option. The strong citrus scent disrupts scent trails that ants use to navigate, making your home less inviting.

For fleas, a mix of baking soda and salt sprinkled on carpets and upholstery can help dehydrate and kill them. Vacuum thoroughly after letting the mixture sit for a few hours.

Essential oils like peppermint, eucalyptus, and tea tree also work well. Add a few drops to water in a spray bottle and spritz around your home for a pleasant scent that pests hate.

Cucumber slices are another safe and surprising repellent, especially for cockroaches. Place them in corners or areas where roaches hide.

These natural remedies are easy to prepare and budget-friendly. While they may require more frequent application than chemical sprays, they offer a safer, eco-conscious approach to keeping pests away from your home.
