Musk Seeks ‘Wave of Impeachments’ For Federal Judges

Elon Musk, DOGE chair, is urging the GOP-controlled Congress to launch a “wave of judicial impeachments” after a D.C. court ordered the Trump administration to restore federal health datasets taken offline.

“There needs to be an immediate wave of judicial impeachments, not just one,” Musk stated on X, responding to conflict-of-interest claims involving U.S. District Judge John Bates, a George W. Bush appointee.

Musk’s remarks reflect growing tensions between the judiciary and executive power, with the White House supporting his stance against what it calls “activist judges.” Legal experts warn this could spark a constitutional crisis as the administration challenges judicial authority.
