Parents warn of fatal microwave mistake after 7-year-old girl suffers severe injuries and falls into a coma

A devastated family is warning others after their 7-year-old daughter suffered severe injuries and fell into a coma due to a tragic microwave-related accident.

According to her parents, the young girl attempted to heat a liquid in the microwave, unaware of the dangers of superheating. When she removed the container, the liquid erupted, causing severe burns. The injuries were so extensive that she was rushed to the hospital and placed in a medically induced coma.

Experts caution that superheated liquids—especially water—can reach temperatures beyond boiling without bubbling. A sudden disturbance, such as movement or an object being dropped in, can cause an explosive reaction.

Her parents are sharing their story to prevent similar tragedies, urging families to educate children about microwave safety. “We never imagined something so simple could be so dangerous,” her mother said.

As the little girl fights for recovery, her story serves as a heartbreaking reminder of the hidden dangers in everyday household appliances.
