Sugar-free dessert!

In today’s health-conscious world, finding delicious desserts that are both sugar-free and low in calories can be a challenge. However, with the right ingredients and techniques, it’s possible to enjoy guilt-free treats without compromising on taste. This article explores how to create a delectable sugar-free, low-calorie chocolate dessert using simple ingredients like coconut milk and cocoa powder.

Ingredients:

  1. Hydrate the Agar Agar or Gelatin:
    • In a small bowl, mix 7 g of Agar Agar or unflavored gelatin with 60 ml of water.
    • Let it sit for 5-10 minutes to hydrate and soften.
  2. Prepare the Coconut Milk Mixture:
    • In a medium saucepan, combine 400 ml of coconut milk with 120 ml of water.
    • Heat the mixture over medium heat until it becomes warm (do not boil).
    • Add 50 g of unsweetened cocoa powder to the mixture.
    • Whisk continuously until the cocoa powder dissolves completely and the mixture becomes smooth.
  3. Combine with Agar Agar or Gelatin:
    • Once the coconut milk mixture is warm, add the hydrated Agar Agar or gelatin.
    • Stir continuously until the Agar Agar or gelatin completely dissolves and the mixture thickens slightly.
  4. Pour and Set:
    • Pour the mixture into silicone molds or a glass dish.
    • Smooth the surface with a spatula if necessary.
  5. Chill to Set:
    • Place the molds or dish in the refrigerator.
    • Let the dessert chill for at least 2 hours, or until it sets and becomes firm.
  6. Unmold and Serve:
    • Once set, carefully remove the dessert from the molds.
    • If using a glass dish, cut the dessert into squares or desired shapes.
  7. Enjoy:
    • Serve the sugar-free, low-calorie chocolate dessert chilled.
    • It’s ready to enjoy guilt-free!
