Three sisters passed away after visiting their father, details of the case are exposed

Three young sisters were found dead near a Washington campground after leaving home for a “planned visitation” with their father, authorities confirmed Monday.

Paityn Decker, 9; Evelyn Decker, 8; and Olivia Decker, 5, were discovered on June 2 near the Rock Island Campground in Chelan County following an extensive search, police said.

An autopsy completed on Friday revealed the cause of death was suffocation, and the manner of death was ruled a homicide, according to the Chelan County Sheriff’s Office.

The sisters had been missing since May 31 after leaving for a scheduled visit with their father, according to the Wenatchee Police Department.

The community and authorities had launched a widespread search effort after the girls failed to return, raising concern for their safety.

Officials continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding their deaths as they work to bring justice for the family.

The tragic case has drawn attention and support from neighbors and local organizations, offering condolences to the grieving family.

No further details about suspects or motives have been released as the investigation remains active.
