Trump Revokes Security Clearance For Top Democrats As Purge Continues

President Donald Trump will revoke more security clearances for several top Democrats, according to reports on Saturday.

Joe Biden’s Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, who was the orchestrator of the letter by 51 former intelligence officials who falsely claimed that the Hunter Biden laptop was Russian disinformation before the 2020 presidential election, is among those who will lose their clearance.

“Bad guy. Take away his passes,” he said of Blinken, per the New York Post.

Others include former national security adviser Jake Sulivan, Biden’s former deputy Attorney General Lisa Monaco and attorneys Andrew Weismann, Mark Zaid and Norm Eisen, The Post added.

In addition, Trump will bar Democratic New York Attorney General Letitia James and Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg from receiving any classified information or being able to enter any federal building.

“This is to take away every right they have [revoking security clearances] including they can’t go into [federal] buildings,” the president said to The New York Post.

Last week, the president announced on his Truth Social platform that he was pulling daily intelligence briefings for Biden after determining that the former president’s alleged state of mind makes him a national security risk. He has also revoked the 46th president’s security clearance.

“There is no need for Joe Biden to continue receiving access to classified information. Therefore, we are immediately revoking Joe Biden’s Security Clearances, and stopping his daily Intelligence Briefings,” Trump wrote, adding that Biden did the same to him shortly after he took office.

“He set this precedent in 2021, when he instructed the Intelligence Community (IC) to stop the 45th President of the United States (ME!) from accessing details on National Security, a courtesy provided to former Presidents,” Trump continued.

“The Hur Report revealed that Biden suffers from ‘poor memory’ and, even in his ‘prime,’ could not be trusted with sensitive information. I will always protect our National Security — JOE, YOU’RE FIRED. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!” he added.

When the president spoke to The Post, he said of his predecessor, “I don’t trust him. He’s not worthy of trust … To safeguard national security,”

He said he did not plan to investigate the former president but that Biden left himself open to it by not pardoning himself when he pardoned his son Hunter and other family members.

“I wouldn’t do it specifically. If something comes up, he’s certainly prime time for investigation. … It’s not  good what he did to our country. I mean, all of this work we’re doing now with getting [illegal aliens] out, finding murderers on the street. … all of this that we’re doing is because of him allowing people to come into our country,” he said.

The president made more news last week when, on Friday, he appeared to rule out deporting Prince Harry while also taking a verbal jab at his wife and former actress Meghan Markle.

Harry’s immigration status is currently being challenged in Washington, D.C., with the Heritage Foundation claiming that he may have concealed past illegal drug use, which could have disqualified him from obtaining a U.S. visa, the New York Post reported.

However, the president told the outlet on Friday that he has no intention of deporting Harry.

“I don’t want to do that. I’ll leave him alone,” Trump said about the self-exiled royal. “He’s got enough problems with his wife. She’s terrible.”

Trump took the opportunity to praise Harry’s estranged older brother, William, whom he met during a private meeting in Paris last December at the reopening ceremony of Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, which had been gutted by a fire about five years ago.

“I think William is a great young man,” he said.

The Duke of Sussex and his liberal American wife have expressed their disapproval of Trump over the years, including a notable moment when the Duchess referred to the president as “divisive” and “misogynistic.” Trump, in response, has accused Harry of being “whipped” by his wife: “I think poor Harry is being led around by the nose.”
