How to unclog stove nozzles and make the flame stronger with this homemade trick

Revive Your Stove Flame with This Easy Cleaning Trick

A weak or uneven flame on your stove is usually caused by clogged nozzles filled with grease, dust, or residue. This not only slows cooking but also wastes gas. Thankfully, there’s a simple fix using basic items at home.

What You’ll Need:

  • Liquid aluminum cleaner – safe for metal, cuts through grime
  • A wooden stick, tube, or spoon handle – to clean inside the gas tube
  • Toilet paper – for wiping away loosened debris

Step 1: Prep Safely
Turn off the stove and disconnect the gas. Remove grates and nozzle caps to access the openings.

Step 2: Apply Cleaner
Pour a bit of aluminum cleaner over the nozzles. Let it sit for 5–10 minutes to break down built-up grease and dirt.

Step 3: Unclog the Gas Tube
Gently insert the stick or tool into the gas tube opening. Move it back and forth to loosen and remove debris clogging the flow.

Step 4: Clean & Dry
Use toilet paper to wipe away remaining residue. Dry all parts thoroughly before reassembling.

Step 5: Reassemble & Test
Reconnect all parts, turn the gas back on, and test your flame. It should now burn stronger and more evenly.

Helpful Tips:

  • Clean every 2–3 months for best performance.
  • Use only aluminum-safe products to avoid corrosion.
  • Always check for gas leaks after reassembling.

This quick maintenance trick improves efficiency, saves fuel, and keeps your stove working like new.
