UNITED KINGDOM Woman unnerved when security footage reveals stranger in her bed: ‘I was shocked’

A Scottish woman made a shocking discovery when she found footage of an intruder breaking into her home and dozing off in her bed, even thanking her. Caitlin Sullivan, a 22-year-old mother and part-time caretaker, was left bewildered by the bizarre incident. She received alerts on her phone while visiting a friend’s house on August 29th, around 7:45 a.m. Reviewing the footage, she saw a stranger slipping into her bed where she and her young son slept.

Swiftly, Sullivan called the police, who removed the intruder without pressing charges. Authorities stated they found “no criminal activity” and received no further complaints.

The strange man left the house covered in blood, having spent several hours asleep in the bed without much else. What made matters even stranger was receiving a Facebook message from him the next day, where he apologized for his presence and thanked Sullivan for “letting me put my head down for three hours.”

Sullivan, disturbed by the incident, hasn’t returned to her house except to clean up the blood and is actively seeking a new residence. Despite police advice to block the intruder on social media, she remains uneasy, fearing his return. The mystery persists regarding how he discovered her identity and accessed her home, leaving Sullivan concerned about potential future encounters.
