Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s Wife Shares Update on Abducted Ukrainian Children
Olena Zelenska, the First Lady of Ukraine, has provided a heartbreaking yet hopeful update on the ongoing efforts to bring back Ukrainian children who were forcibly taken to Russia during the war.
Speaking at an international conference, Zelenska revealed that while some children have been successfully reunited with their families, thousands remain missing or in Russian-controlled territories. She emphasized the emotional and psychological toll on families, calling for global intervention to stop these abductions.
Ukraine has accused Russia of illegally deporting children—a claim supported by international human rights organizations. In response, Kyiv has been working with global partners to track and return them safely.
Zelenska urged the international community to take stronger action, stressing that “every child deserves to be home.” As Ukraine continues to fight for its sovereignty, the fate of these abducted children remains a painful chapter in the ongoing war.
