“Wife Vanishes, Leaves Twins & Mysterious Note”

It was supposed to be a perfect homecoming, but instead, I was left with two newborns and a cryptic note from my wife, Suzie. She was gone, leaving behind a message that pointed to my mother as the reason for her sudden disappearance.

I stood frozen in the hospital room, unable to process what had just happened. When I finally made it home, my mom greeted me with excitement, completely unaware of the turmoil inside me.

“Not yet, Mom,” I said firmly. “What did you do to Suzie?”

Her smile faded, and a flicker of something—guilt? Fear?—crossed her face. My heart pounded as I waited for her answer, knowing that whatever she said next could change everything.
