The body of Riley Strain, the missing Missouri college student, has been found in a Nashville river after a two-week search. Metro Nashville Police recovered his body from the Cumberland River in West Nashville around 7:30 a.m. Friday. There were no signs of foul play, and an autopsy is pending.
Strain was last seen on March 8 after leaving Luke Bryan’s 32 Bridge Bar in downtown Nashville. Surveillance footage showed him crossing the street from the bar and later interacting briefly with police. His fraternity brothers reported him missing the next day.
Despite extensive search efforts, Strain remained elusive until March 16 when his bank card was found along the riverbank. The investigation is ongoing, and updates will follow.
Our thoughts are with Riley’s loved ones during this tragic time.
