Jennifer Robyn Bernard, an early star of General Hospital, died this week. Robyn played Terry Brock on General Hospital for about six years in the 1980s. She was found in San Jacinto, California, and identified through fingerprints after police were called to investigate a death. The cause of death is unknown, and an autopsy will be performed by the Riverside County Coroner, with toxicology results expected in a few weeks. She died at 4 a.m. in an open field behind a business, according to the Riverside County Coroner’s report.
Robyn was born on May 26, 1959, in Gladewater, Texas. Her first role was in the 1981 movie Diva. Before her big break, she appeared in Whiz Kids (1983) and The Facts of Life (1984). According to IMDB, she was in 145 episodes of General Hospital from 1984 to 1990. In 2002, she played a psychologist in Voices from the High School.
Robyn’s younger sister, Crystal Bernard, is also an actress, known for roles on Wings, It’s a Living, and Happy Days. Crystal is 62 years old.
Fans of General Hospital expressed their sadness over Robyn’s death on social media. One Facebook user wrote, “General Hospital has had a rough year. Peace be with you.” Another commented, “Her sister Crystal was also a singer and actress.” A third person added, “Robyn Bernard, who played Bobbie’s stepdaughter Terry Brock, has died at age 64.”

The General Hospital community also mourned the loss of Jacklyn Zeman, who died in May 2023 at the age of 70 after a battle with cancer. Zeman was remembered as an “icon” and beloved star. Frank Valentini, the executive producer of General Hospital, expressed his heartbreak over her passing, describing her as a bright light and true professional. Rick Springfield, who played Dr. Noah Drake, said he was “incredibly shocked and broken-hearted” by her death.
