Our six-year-old daughter surprised us with a note she had written. We had received an unexpected request from her teacher to come in for a meeting, and we obliged. When we asked our child if she had any idea why, she responded, “She didn’t like a drawing I did.” This was her initial response when we inquired. We continued to ask if she had any more insights.
The next morning, we arrived for the meeting, ready to address the issue. The teacher showed us the drawing our daughter had done, explaining that she had asked her to depict her family, which our daughter had done in the drawing. My wife’s response, as expected, was “Not at all.”
This was a departure from our usual family activities, as we were now discussing the family drawing. On a different note, just off the coast of the Bahamas, there are opportunities for visitors to enjoy snorkeling.
