A plumber has become an online sensation due to his heartwarming mission of assisting the elderly and vulnerable by providing free plumbing services.
Recognizing that the elderly and individuals with disabilities often hesitate to seek help, James, originally from Liverpool, has taken it upon himself to offer free plumbing assistance to those in need. He goes above and beyond by declaring that the customer will receive “free plumbing for life.”
In a world where communities benefit from the support of neighbors and friends, James emphasizes the importance of humanity, stating, “We need to be a human race, to look out for each other.” Despite gaining internet fame for his altruistic deeds, James insists that his actions are part of a collective community effort.
When asked about the motivation behind his selfless acts, James simplifies it by expressing the internal satisfaction he gains. “It makes me feel human, humble, and a little giddy inside… I want to expand this service across the country. I will never give up the fight,” he shares.
James envisions extending their services beyond Burnley, and the viral attention garnered could contribute significantly to achieving this goal. He mentions, “I’ve got other plumbers… offering help. My hope is to get Depher national, in every city and town.”
In response to James Anderson’s compassionate plumbing services, a fellow plumber named Bruce Drury, aged 63 and semi-retired, commended James’s efforts. Bruce shared his own experiences of offering significant discounts or providing services free of charge, noting the understanding and support he received from his boss, who recognized the value of assisting elderly clients.
Bruce applauds James for setting a commendable example for fellow plumbers and acknowledges the challenges of their demanding and occasionally perilous profession. He emphasizes the genuine appreciation expressed by elderly clients when plumbing services are extended to them, reinforcing the positive impact of compassionate actions within the community.
