At 67 years old, Debra Winger remains lovely and will always be remembered for her performances in the 1980s.

Debra Winger, the timeless star of Hollywood’s golden era, remains radiant at 67. She made her debut in 1976’s “Wonder Woman” and chose to avoid typecasting despite opportunities. Her career soared in the 1980s with remarkable roles in “Urban Cowboy” and “Terms of Endearment,” earning accolades and securing her place in Hollywood’s elite.

However, off-screen conflicts with co-stars, particularly Richard Gere and Shirley MacLaine, made headlines. These tales of discord contrasted with their on-screen chemistry.

Winger’s Hollywood hiatus led to speculation, but she clarified her desire for diverse roles and new challenges outside the industry. During this break, she embraced personal life, motherhood, and a brief return in “Forget Paris.”

Her husband, Arliss Howard, joined her for the 2001 film “Big Bad Love,” and a 2002 documentary explored her departure from mainstream cinema.

Winger made a glorious return with roles in “Rachel Getting Married,” “The Lovers,” “Kajillionaire,” and 2021’s “With/In, Volume 2,” which also involved her husband.

Reflecting on Hollywood’s glitz, Winger now sees it as a location, not her view of it.
