Rustam, a child born with facial malformations, abandoned by his biological parents due to his appearance, found a loving family in Nika Zlobin and her husband Yuri. Rustam, who needed several medical procedures, faced a challenging start to life.

Nika, after seeing Rustam’s photo in 2017, felt compelled to adopt him despite the medical requirements. She and Yuri provided the necessary care and therapies for Rustam, including speech therapy, plastic surgery, and a prosthetic leg.

Nika actively advocates for the rights and dignity of disabled individuals. Rustam, now around 10, faces cruel comments but embraces his uniqueness with bright hairstyles and bold clothing. Nika and Yuri continue to support Rustam, emphasizing his beauty, courage, and the love he shares with his adoptive family.
