GONE TOO SOON. Child Star actor dies after tragic motorcycle accident.

Chance Perdomo, known for his roles in “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina” and “Gen V,” has tragically died in a motorcycle accident. He was nearing 27 years old.

Perdomo portrayed Ambrose Spellman in the reboot “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina” and Andre Anderson in “Gen V,” a spinoff of “The Boys.” His representatives confirmed his passing to The Hollywood Reporter, stating, “His passion for the arts and insatiable appetite for life was felt by all who knew him, and his warmth will carry on in those who he loved dearest. We ask to please respect the family’s wish for privacy as they mourn the loss of their beloved son and brother.” The accident involved no other individuals.

Though born in Los Angeles, California, Chance moved to Southampton, England, as a child and held dual citizenship in the United Kingdom and the United States. He starred in various films and TV shows in both countries and was nominated for a BAFTA for his role in “Killed by My Debt” (2018). In 2021, 2022, and 2023, he played Landon in the romance films “After We Fell,” “After Ever Happy,” and “After Everything.” His most recent role was Andre Anderson in Prime Video’s “Gen V,” where he played a student-turned-superhero who could manipulate magnets.

The second season of “Gen V” has been put on hold following his death. The show’s producer expressed their grief to Deadline, saying, “For those of us who knew and worked with him, Chance was always happy and smiling. He was an energetic force of nature, a wildly talented performer, and most of all, a very kind and lovely person. It doesn’t make sense to write about him in the past tense. Our hearts go out to Chance’s family; we’re sad about the death of our friend and coworker. Please give your loved ones a hug tonight.”

Amazon MGM Studios and Sony Pictures Television also issued a statement, “The whole Gen V family is devastated by Chance Perdomo’s sudden death. Amazon MGM Studios and Sony Pictures Television extend our heartfelt thoughts and support to Chance’s family and all who loved him at this difficult time.”

In one of his last social media posts, Chance expressed joy about his motorcycle, sharing pictures from different places on Instagram earlier this month. His vibrant spirit and talent will be deeply missed.
