To the man who is kind, sweet, silly, thoughtful, completely hilarious, handsome, understanding, charming, forever curious, compassionate, witty, warm & wonderful,” she wrote. “You deserve to be endlessly celebrated today! đâ€ïžđ”

Speaking to E! about her new relationship, Rizzo explained that it took “a while” for her to feel comfortable dating again. Addressing critics who claimed she moved on too quickly after Saget’s passing, Rizzo emphasized that only widows or widowers truly understand the complex emotions involved.
Rizzo began dating 18 months after Saget’s death and appreciates her partner’s understanding that Saget will always be a part of her life. She values his interest in Saget and his efforts to keep him present in their conversations.
Receiving approval from Saget’s daughters was significant for Rizzo. Although she didn’t need their blessing, it meant a lot to her to hear that they trust and love her, and want her to be happy

Rizzo and Saget were married for four years until his passing in 2022.
