Part 2 : The station fell silent except for the storm outside.

The twins stared at their father as panic spread across his face.

“Daddy… who is she?”

His lips trembled.

Emily slowly stood up, clutching the torn blanket around herself.

“She’s asking who I am,” Emily said softly. “Tell them.”

The man swallowed hard.

Commuters slowed down now, sensing something was wrong.

The twins looked terrified.

Finally, the father whispered:

“She… she’s your mother.”

The world stopped.

One twin gasped.

The other immediately grabbed Emily’s shaking hand.

“But Daddy said Mommy died.”

Emily’s eyes filled with tears.

“She almost did.”

The father closed his eyes in shame.

Eleven years earlier, Emily had suffered severe memory loss after complications during childbirth.

When she disappeared from the hospital during a mental breakdown, police searched for months but never found her.

Over time, everyone assumed she was gone forever.

But the father knew something nobody else did.

Three years later—

he found her.

Alive.

Broken.

Living on the streets in another city.

But by then he had already built a new life, a successful company, and a perfect story for his daughters.

So he walked away.

And told nobody.

Snow blew violently into the station entrance as Emily stared directly into his eyes.

“You saw me,” she whispered. “And you left me there.”

The twins slowly stepped away from their father.

Tears streamed down his face.

“I was scared…”

Emily shook her head.

“No. You were ashamed.”

One twin suddenly hugged Emily tightly.

The other followed immediately after.

And for the first time in eleven years—

Emily collapsed crying into the arms of her daughters while the man who abandoned her stood alone in the falling snow.

THE END.
