Service Dog Attacks Baby Stroller at Airport

In the cold light of Otopeni Airport’s Terminal D, Officer Andrei patrolled as usual, his loyal German Shepherd Luna by his side. The pair had worked seamlessly for three years, their bond strong and reliable. But tonight, something was different.

Luna suddenly stopped, ears perked and eyes locked on a woman pushing a stroller, her posture tense and nervous. The woman looked pale and exhausted, gripping the stroller tightly with panic in her eyes.Luna, ever vigilant, sniffed the air intensely, then a low growl rumbled from her throat.

This was the first time Luna had reacted like this—ignoring Andrei’s commands and lunging toward the stroller. When the blue blanket covering what was supposed to be a baby slipped away, the shocking truth emerged: underneath was not a child, but a sealed thermal bag marked with hazardous biological symbols. Inside were shiny containers emitting a sharp chemical odor.Andrei quickly pulled the woman aside, demanding an explanation. She was unable to offer much, only saying she had been told to smuggle the package through security, unaware of its contents.
