Born on June 19, 1963, in Glastonbury, Connecticut, Laura grew up in a working-class family with three older brothers. Her father, James Frederick Ingraham III, a World War II veteran, owned a carwash, while her mother, Anne Caroline Kozak, worked at the local school and as a waitress. Laura describes her childhood as lively and spirited.

After graduating from Glastonbury High School in 1981, Laura attended Dartmouth College, where she gained attention as editor-in-chief of the conservative Dartmouth Review. Her bold investigative journalism, such as sending an undercover reporter to a LGBTQ organization, sparked controversy and headlines.

Following roles as a speechwriter for the Reagan administration and a judicial clerk, Laura entered the media world in the mid-1990s. Her radio show, “The Laura Ingraham Show,” became immensely popular, establishing her as a leading conservative voice. She later achieved further acclaim on Fox News, first as a guest host on “The O’Reilly Factor” and then with her own successful show, “The Ingraham Angle.”

Beyond her career, Laura’s personal life includes a dedication to motherhood through adoption. She has welcomed Maria from Guatemala, Dmitri, and Nikolai from Russia into her loving home, prioritizing family alongside her professional achievements.
